Software
Web apps and internal tools for businesses that outgrew spreadsheets.

What we build
Real software problems, not buzzwords
We work in Next.js, TypeScript, and Postgres — chosen because they are maintainable, not because they look good on a pitch deck.
Internal tools & dashboards
Web apps that replace spreadsheets and email chains — job tracking, inventory, scheduling, and reporting built around how your team already works.
Customer-facing web apps
Portals, booking flows, and lightweight products for businesses that outgrew Shopify plugins or generic SaaS — scoped to what you actually need.
Consulting & rescue work
Scope a new build, review an existing codebase, or untangle something a previous vendor left half-finished. Honest advice on build vs. buy.
Recent work
Concrete projects, not stock photos
We are a small shop — ask us for more detail on a call. Here is the kind of work we ship.
This website
Designed and shipped the Coulsource site — dual service sections, contact forms, and section-based theming — on Next.js and Vercel.

How a project runs
No discovery workshops billed by the day. A short call, a clear scope, then we build.
Step 1
Intro call
Tell us what you are trying to fix or build. We ask questions, push back where needed, and say plainly if we are not the right fit.
Step 2
Scope & quote
We write up what we would build, what it would not include, and a fixed price or hourly estimate — before any code starts.
Step 3
Build & hand off
You work directly with the person writing the code. Regular check-ins, working demos, and documentation when we ship.
Engagement & pricing
How we charge
We quote before we build. You will know the price — or the hourly cap — before work starts.
Fixed-scope projects
Most builds are quoted as a fixed price after we agree on scope. Typical projects run a few weeks to a few months — we will give you a range on the intro call.
Hourly consulting
Architecture reviews, second opinions, small fixes, or help deciding what to build next. Billed hourly with a clear cap agreed upfront.
Ongoing support
After launch, we can stay on for bug fixes and small improvements — usually a monthly retainer sized to your needs, not a locked-in enterprise contract.
